First Responder & Military Consulting

First Responders & Military

The people who protect and serve deserve an expert who actually understands what that costs them.

First responders and military personnel experience trauma at rates that far exceed the general population — and seek help at rates that fall far below it. The culture of service that makes them effective at their jobs is the same culture that teaches them to dismiss their own suffering and view help-seeking as weakness.

Dr. Flores completed her doctoral internship at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, and has extensive experience treating veterans and first responders throughout her clinical career. Her consulting work with these organizations is built on approaches that work within — rather than against — the values and identity of service professionals.
